Leaf Leather purses now available at Moose Mountain Trading Company

We now have Leaf Leather purses both in our store and online at Moose Mountain Trading Company. Here is a brief overview of how these unique purses are created: Each leaf represents a tool created by the artist, C.L. Whiting. An entire hide is stamped, making every item a "gallery-sought" one-of-a-kind, part of the original artwork. Within each leaf pattern, more than 50 tools are used to cover the hide, "like a canvas." Hand staining and hand-rubbing enhance the raised three-dimentional texture. The leaves stamped on the leather will stand the test of time, while the soft garment cowhide is buttery to the touch.
